I am a non traditional first semester student at SCCC. At 52 going to college felt strange, I didn't know how I would fit in. After my first day I realized age did not matter. All my professors and all the people I had interactions with. ( advisor, financial aid) All were very welcoming. The other students even though they were mostly 30 years younger than me treat me just like another student. I need to mention Rory my student sucees coach. He checks on me weekly, helping me in anyway possible. I could write forever but I will keep it simple. I just want to say I love SCCC and would recommend it to anyone. I gave it all five stars some areas deserve a 6 out of 5. I did rate party bar scene low, thats only because I don't drink so that seen has no intrest to me. SCCC giving me a new life.
