Roberts Wesleyan College occupies a suburban campus in Rochester, New York, located approximately 10 miles southwest of downtown Rochester and Lake Ontario. Founded in 1866 as Chili Seminary by Benjamin Titus Roberts, the institution began as a Free Methodist school and maintains its Christian liberal arts tradition while operating as an independent college. The campus spans 188 acres of rolling hills featuring a mix of historic and modern buildings, with Georgian-style architecture predominant across academic facilities. Roberts Wesleyan offers undergraduate and graduate programs with strengths in nursing, education, business, and social work, while maintaining a selective admissions process. Most undergraduate students live in one of the six residence halls on campus, and the college competes in NCAA Division II athletics as the Redhawks.
