Ithaca College, established in 1892, is a private institution located in the Finger Lakes region of Central New York, approximately 4 hours northwest of New York City. The college sits on a 670-acre campus that offers a suburban environment and a blend of modern and traditional architecture. Known for its Roy H. Park School of Communications and a robust School of Music, Ithaca provides a well-rounded liberal arts and sciences education with an emphasis on experiential learning. With a moderately selective admissions process, the college attracts a diverse student body seeking a personalized college experience. Ithaca College maintains a residential campus, with a range of housing options including traditional dormitories, suite-style living, and apartment complexes for upperclassmen.
