Iona College, a private institution founded in 1940 by the Congregation of Christian Brothers, is situated in the suburban locale of New Rochelle, New York, approximately 20 miles northeast of Manhattan. The college offers a variety of undergraduate programs, with a significant focus on business, communications, and liberal arts education. Iona's academic climate is supported by a student-faculty ratio that facilitates a more personalized learning experience. Selectivity for applicants is considered moderately competitive.
