Hudson Valley Community College

Hudson Valley Community College, established in 1953, is a public two-year institution located in Troy, New York, approximately eight miles from the state capital of Albany. The 120-acre suburban campus features modern academic facilities and technical laboratories spread across the base of the Rensselaer Hills. As part of the State University of New York (SUNY) system, HVCC serves as the primary higher education institution for New York's Capital Region, offering associate degrees and certificates across more than 80 academic programs. The college maintains strong transfer partnerships with regional four-year institutions and is known for its programs in automotive technology, nursing, business administration, and engineering science.
