Dutchess Community College, established in 1957, occupies a 130-acre main campus in Poughkeepsie, New York, located in the Mid-Hudson Valley approximately 75 miles north of New York City. The suburban campus features modern academic buildings, including the Conklin Hall science facility and the Washington Center for Science and Art, alongside a recently constructed residence hall that houses up to 465 students. As part of the State University of New York (SUNY) system, DCC operates as an open-admission institution serving the local Hudson Valley region, while also drawing students from neighboring counties and states.
