The Culinary Institute of America's main campus occupies a former Jesuit seminary overlooking the Hudson River in Hyde Park, New York, approximately 90 miles north of New York City. Established in 1946 and relocated to its current location in 1972, the CIA is recognized as a leading culinary education institution, offering associate and bachelor's degrees in culinary arts, baking and pastry arts, and food business management.
