The University of New Mexico-Valencia County Campus, located in the heart of Los Lunas, New Mexico, offers students a distinctive educational experience just 30 minutes south of Albuquerque. Established with the intent to serve the educational needs of Valencia County, this regional branch of the University of New Mexico was founded in 1981 and is set against the backdrop of the rural New Mexican landscape.
