My son attended here and left with PTSD from fraternity hazing. His dorm was broken into by someone's cousin who should not have been in the dorms. I wanted to send my child here bc of the affordable tuition and the new growth of buildings on campus. Unfortunately, he fell through the cracks and there was no one there to help.

Whatever you are looking for, you can find here. If you are looking for a competitive academic environment, you can find it. If you are looking to major in STEM or pre-med, they are growing rapidly! If you are looking to party, you can find that too. I wish they gave middle class families more $$, but overall the school is solid.

My son took out 86k to come to this trashfest and now he's living on food stamps in the cold! Rowan aint doing anything for educated folks like me and my son (I went to TCNJ). Rowan instead of investing in millions on dollars on limosines and fancy new places, why dont you actually give!

My daughter had the worst possible experience. Professors who told kids to watch YouTube when they asked for help to roommates who came in drunk at 4am during the week.
Alumnus
This school should be lauded for providing a quality education and an ability to provide students with the ability to climb the social mobility index. You get out of this school what you put in, and in my case I put in a lot, but I also had an excellent experience. It is growing quickly, but this growth is making it competitive with other top schools in the region. I wasn't a fan of some of the non-tenured professors outside my major, and the Education program was a lot of work, but the History professors became almost like an extended family.

Rowan is growing too fast. University is putting big bucks into athletic facilities while ignoring academic funding. e.g. science labs are not anywhere up to date. Campus is land locked by town development. New facilities are a good distance from main campus.
