Test Submission Requirements
Princeton University is test-optional for first-year and transfer applicants seeking to enroll in fall 2027 (2026-27 admission cycle). Students who apply without SAT or ACT scores are not disadvantaged. Applicants who submit scores must send official SAT or ACT results directly from the testing firms. Beginning with the 2027-28 cycle, SAT or ACT scores are required for fall 2028 first-year and transfer applicants, except active military personnel.
