Fairleigh Dickinson University-College at Florham, situated in the suburban town of Madison, New Jersey, is a private institution that emphasizes liberal arts and professional studies. Located approximately 25 miles west of New York City, the campus, formerly the Twombly Estate, is known for its picturesque Georgian colonial architecture. Established in 1958, this campus houses the Maxwell Becton College of Arts and Sciences and the Silberman College of Business, known for its business, psychology, and liberal arts programs. The university maintains a moderately selective admissions policy. On-campus living is available, with a range of residential facilities that complement the academic experience.
