Fairleigh Dickinson University's College at Florham occupies a 178-acre suburban campus in Madison, New Jersey, approximately 35 miles west of New York City. The campus is situated on the former Vanderbilt-Twombly estate, featuring Georgian-style architecture and formal gardens that are listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Established in 1958, the College at Florham serves as one of FDU's two main New Jersey campuses and maintains a moderate level of selectivity in its admissions process.
