Concordia University-Seward is a private liberal arts university affiliated with the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, located in Seward, Nebraska, about 25 miles west of the state capital of Lincoln. Established in 1894, the university maintains a Christian-based curriculum with a wide range of undergraduate, graduate, and pre-professional programs. Popular majors include Business, Education, and Theology. Concordia University-Seward is characterized by a relatively inclusive application process. The sprawling campus is noted for its blend of traditional and modern architecture, providing residential halls for on-campus student living.
