The University of Montana-Western, located in Dillon, Montana, is a public, four-year institution that uniquely offers an experience-based learning model known as "Experience One," where students take one course at a time. Established in 1893, the university has built a reputation for strengths in fields such as Environmental Sciences, Education, and Equine Studies.
