Fort Belknap College (now known as Aaniiih Nakoda College) is a tribal community college located on the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation in north-central Montana, approximately 40 miles south of the Canadian border. The college serves primarily the Aaniiih (Gros Ventre) and Nakoda (Assiniboine) tribes from its main campus in Harlem, Montana. Established in 1984, the institution provides two-year associate degrees and certificate programs with an emphasis on Native American studies, allied health, computer information systems, and environmental science.
