William Jewell College, founded in 1849, is a private liberal arts college located in Liberty, Missouri, near Kansas City. The campus features a blend of contemporary and historic architecture, including the John Gano Memorial Chapel known for its distinctive gothic design. William Jewell offers a wide range of academic programs with a strong emphasis on leadership and service. The college operates on a principles-based curriculum with a notable Oxbridge Honors Program, which incorporates tutorial-style teaching reminiscent of Oxford and Cambridge Universities. Known for a more selective admissions process, the institution provides a rigorous educational environment that appeals to a diverse set of students.
