I am a current student at Stephens and LOVE it here! My major is in education and I honestly couldn't ask for better professors to learn off of. All professors here are incredibly passionate about what they teach and offer so much in terms of information and also support. The campus is also so beautiful and small, it's a perfect place to call home. Columbia is a cute little town with so much to do, and being close to both Mizzou and Columbia College allows for you to make so many friends from all over. Classmates here support each other to the fullest extent and will go out of their way to help someone who needs it. I have never met a bad administrative person here to be completely honest. In fact, they worked super hard to help me with my tuition when I was struggling financially. I love it here, I have nothing negative to say on almost all accounts.... the food could be a little better though :p

There is a lot of secretiveness about the campus, the professors and faculty are amazing for what they are able to do but the administration is lacking and very corrupt in my opinion. There is no telling as to where any money goes and I've only seen the president of the school about five times since I've attended. If there is a possibility you might transfer, don't attend because they try to keep you here by setting up obstacles in your path. Many credits won't transfer to other universities as well. There is a lot to love about Stephens though, there is an abundance of tradition and the presence of history seeps through every hall. It's a great school for fashion and theater but the other majors are severely lacking even though we all work to combat the questionable lack of funding.
