I started my journey with Grantham University in Slidell, LA - got handed off to Kansas - and money taken by Arkansas - never graduated because I kept getting dropped and they kept my student loan money - ended up with over $40K in debt when I should have graduate with less than $20K in student loans. I'd also been given scholarships which should have eliminated much of the cost. I believe sleight of hand left me with no degree and a huge debt. BEWARE GRANTHAM UNIVERSITY is NOT the military friendly online school they started out to be.

My experience at Grantham University was truly a wonderful experience for me. I have been serving in the US Army for 19 years. I truly needed to obtain my bachelors degree before I finished my 20 years of Active Duty time. This wonderful university ensured that I received my Degree in Multidisciplinary studies. If you are military Soldier this university will ensure that you are completing your assignments on time if anything goes on your counselor that you are assigned to will call you to see what is going on and how can they be involved to help you with any issues. I have to give a big shout out to Mrs Cynthia Lockett she is so good to all of the United states military soldiers. Mrs Lockett goes above and beyond to ensure military soldiers are take care of Thanks so much to her for assisting me and keeping me motivated to finish my degree and I did in 2019. Online classes at Grantham was very self paced and understanding.

Overall, I would recommend this school to others. The things I like about Grantham University: 1) Military Friendly, My tuition assistance covered all the tuition and there were minimal fees in the beginning, circa 2018, fees were eliminated later with the exception of a graduation fee 2) My student advisor was awesome, he would answer any question or get me any info I wanted to decide what class was next or how many classes I was going to take. I never took more than two at a time, but I did that three terms in a row once to make up for my slightly long summer break. 3) They use blackboard for distance learning, it works great, they really work very hard to keep it operational 100%, I think it only suffered one time from an outage in two years. 4) Most, if not all, of the teaching staff are super flexible.

The program was two years, utilizing military TA. The school was very accommodating to my needs within active military service. As I traveled and mission ops increased, they assisted and adjusted to help keep me on track and successful in my degree program. Each student has a consistent student advisor to help with paperwork, finances, and they check on you before a course starts and within the first two weeks to see how you are doing. Having this consistent primary contact helped greatly. Very good and challenging program and very good help with degree completion.

I think Grantham University is a great place for anyone to go. The staff is nice and very helpful and was always available.

Grantham is 100% online, so there are no review ratings for Campus related items. I have received multiple job offerings based largely on having my Master of Business Administration in Project Management. I turned down an offer from IBM with a starting salary above $75,000 because of the 2 hr commute that would be required, but the point is that a degree from Grantham means something in the business world. It is one of the lowest tuition rates in the industry and there are no hidden fees, charges, or costs. Books are included, and for military, they even have a scholarship if you use all of your Federal Tuition Assistance funds before you reach the end of the fiscal year. I cannot say enough good things about Grantham. Well worth a look.

Grantham is a school that is 100% online. This means you got to put the work in and not approach seeking a degree with a sense of entitlement. Could the school improve in certain areas, absolutely. We all can improve in certain areas. But at the end of any day, its all about accountability and that goes both ways.
