I loved this school when I went there 20 years ago. Tons of fun and the town is great with other colleges. I had professors that cared about my education and really supported students success.

I went back to college at a State University while my son attended/graduated from Evangel. Our experiences academically were polarizing. With the exception of a few professors, the requirements (or lack), lack of education of some professors, school policy, inconsistent ways of handling situations,...it was laughable at best. To give one example: my son received a D- on a paper and was told by his professor that his paper was deserving of an A, however they didn't agree with his personal views. (to be clear, the assignment was to express/argue their point of view.) The handful of decent professors here is not worth dealing with all the school's negatives.

Lol don't go to school here. If you want freedom and have fun as a college kid, don't go here. You have a curfew. You aren't allowed to hang in other genders rooms unless its an "open dorms" night. During those nights you have to keep your door open at a 90 degree angle, keep your feet on the ground at all times, and they check on you every 30 minutes. If you get caught going out or drinking you will get in a lot of trouble. This place is ridiculous.
