Crowder College is a two-year community college located in Neosho, Missouri, situated in the southwestern corner of the state approximately 20 miles south of Joplin. The main campus spans 608 acres of former Camp Crowder, a World War II military training facility, from which the college derived its name upon its founding in 1963. In addition to its main campus, Crowder operates satellite centers in Cassville, Nevada, McDonald County, and Webb City. The college offers associate degrees and career/technical certificates, with notable programs in veterinary technology, nursing, and alternative energy technology, including one of the first solar technology programs in the region.
