William Carey University is a private Christian institution established in 1906 and located in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, approximately 90 miles southeast of the state capital, Jackson. Known for its distinctive blend of liberal arts and professional programs, the university offers a range of undergraduate, master's, and doctoral degrees, with notable emphasis on health sciences, education, and business.
