Test Submission Requirements
The University of Mississippi is test-optional for first-year applicants in the 2026-27 admissions cycle. Mississippi residents with a 3.2 unweighted high school GPA can be admitted without SAT or ACT scores, and nonresident applicants with a 3.2 unweighted GPA may also apply without tests. Scores are strongly recommended if your unweighted GPA is below 3.2, and they remain important for scholarships and placement. If you send scores, have the testing agency report them (ACT 2250, SAT 1840); Ole Miss superscores within the SAT or within the ACT. Homeschooled students and applicants from non-accredited high schools still need SAT or ACT scores.
