Meridian Community College

Meridian Community College, established in 1937, is a public two-year institution located in Meridian, Mississippi, approximately 90 miles east of Jackson. The 100-acre suburban campus features modern academic buildings and technical training facilities centered around a traditional quad setting. The college offers associate degrees and career-technical certificates, with notable programs in healthcare, particularly nursing and dental hygiene, as well as manufacturing technology and business administration. Residence halls accommodate students who wish to live on campus, making it one of the few community colleges in Mississippi to offer student housing. The institution maintains athletic programs in baseball, basketball, golf, and soccer, competing in the National Junior College Athletic Association as the Eagles.

Meridian Community College is designated as a Predominantly Black Institution (PBI) and receives federal grants supporting the school's efforts to serve low and middle-income Black Americans.
