Coahoma Community College

Coahoma Community College is a public two-year institution located in Clarksdale, Mississippi, situated in the heart of the Mississippi Delta region approximately 75 miles south of Memphis, Tennessee. The campus spans 99 acres and features modern academic buildings alongside residential facilities that accommodate on-campus students. Established in 1949, Coahoma Community College emerged from the former Coahoma County Agricultural High School and now serves as a primary educational resource for several Delta counties. The college offers associate degree programs and career technical certificates, with notable emphasis in healthcare education, including nursing and allied health programs, as well as workforce development training. As a member of the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Athletic Conference, the institution's athletic program, known as the Tigers, competes in baseball, basketball, and football.
