Racial Diversity

Racial Diversity Index: 22%

Racial diversity is the chance that two students chosen at random are from different racial or ethnic groups, using the U.S. Census Bureau Diversity Index. Students at WETCC are mostly American Indian/Alaskan with a smaller White population. The school has very low racial diversity. 90% percent of students are minorities or people of color (BIPOC). The ethnic breakdown is detailed in the following table.

White Earth Tribal and Community College is designated as a Tribal College or University (TCU) - a college which fosters American Indian culture, languages, and traditions. The college is highly inclusive of Native American students.
