The University of Minnesota-Morris (UMN Morris) is a public liberal arts college located in Morris, Minnesota, approximately 160 miles northwest of Minneapolis/St. Paul. Founded in 1960 on the grounds of a former Native American boarding school, UMN Morris is affiliated with the Council of Public Liberal Arts Colleges and emphasizes a broad-based liberal arts education.
