Bethany Lutheran College is a private liberal arts institution located in Mankato, Minnesota, situated on a hilltop campus overlooking the Minnesota River Valley, approximately 85 miles south of Minneapolis-St. Paul. Founded in 1927 as a women's college, Bethany transitioned to a coeducational four-year college in 1995 and maintains its affiliation with the Evangelical Lutheran Synod. The campus features a mix of historic and modern buildings, with most students residing in one of four residence halls. Bethany Lutheran offers bachelor's degrees across more than 25 majors, with particular emphasis on business administration, education, and communication, while maintaining small class sizes throughout its academic programs.
