Glen Oaks Community College, established in 1965, sits on a 300-acre rural campus in Centreville, Michigan, approximately 35 miles south of Kalamazoo. The two-year public institution serves students primarily from St. Joseph County and surrounding areas in southwestern Michigan. The main campus features modern classroom facilities, a technology center, and the newly renovated Nora Hagen Theater. Glen Oaks offers associate degrees and certificate programs with emphasis on business, nursing, allied health, and technical education, while maintaining transfer agreements with several four-year Michigan universities. The college provides on-site student housing through its Devier Student Suites, which opened in 2017, making it one of the few Michigan community colleges to offer residential facilities.
