Concordia University Ann Arbor occupies a 187-acre campus along the Huron River, situated approximately one mile from downtown Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan. Established in 1963 as a junior college of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, CUAA merged with Concordia University Wisconsin in 2013 to expand its academic offerings and institutional resources. The campus features a blend of modern and traditional collegiate architecture, with its prominent Kreft Center for the Arts serving as a cultural hub. CUAA maintains a selective liberal arts curriculum with notable programs in nursing, education, and church work, while also offering pre-professional tracks in fields such as athletic training and business. Residential students are housed in two main dormitory buildings on campus, and the Cardinals compete in the NAIA's Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference, with particular emphasis on their growing football and basketball programs.
