Bay de Noc Community College

Bay de Noc Community College ("Bay College") serves Michigan's central Upper Peninsula from its main campus in Escanaba, located along the shores of Lake Michigan's Little Bay de Noc, with an additional campus in Iron Mountain. The main campus consists of modern academic buildings spread across 150 acres of wooded grounds, including dedicated technical and healthcare training facilities. Established in 1962 to meet the region's educational needs, Bay College offers associate degrees and certificates in fields such as nursing, water resource management, robotics, and business, while maintaining transfer agreements with several Michigan universities. The college provides student housing through its apartment-style residence complex, making it one of the few community colleges in Michigan to offer on-campus living options.
