The University of Massachusetts-Boston (UMass Boston) is a public research university situated on a 177-acre waterfront campus with views of the Boston skyline. Founded in 1964, UMass Boston is the third-largest campus in the University of Massachusetts system and is known for its diverse student body and urban engagement.
