If you are a student, former student, faculty member or parent, please help guide other prospective students by sharing your personal experiences at this college. What is it really like to go to College of Our Lady of the Elms?
This college is good if you want to focus solely on academics and resume building. The social scene really is nothing, in all honesty. The professors that stay are amazing and really into their subjects, plus they provide a lot of opportunities to grow. The retention rate for faculty is pretty awful, but, as aforementioned, you can get lucky with the ones that stay. They are really into "The Sisters of Saint Joseph" who founded the school, but other than that it really isn't bad for a Catholic college, and I'm an atheist. No parties, the students who play sports are dicks (d3 college that loses all the time), but you can definitely find your people :)

I'm giving Elms College a 3 out of 5 based on my experience. Rose Williams (one of the dorm buildings) has the worst bathrooms but the rooms are spacious. Oleary (another dorm building) has the best bathrooms but every room is a different size and the walls are SO paper thin you can hear everything going on next door. The food absolutely sucks and because of the location of the college, you can either get in your car and drive some place to eat or have something delivered. There's nothing really around campus besides a bar, which is cool if you want to become an alcoholic, which this school could easily drive you to become one. If you're looking for a small college to go to then this is the place. But I'd suggest going to a bigger school if you want a true college experience.
