The College of Southern Maryland (CSM) is a public, regional community college located in La Plata, Maryland, with additional campuses in Leonardtown and Prince Frederick. Established in 1958, the institution is situated approximately 30 miles southeast of Washington D.C., offering students a suburban setting with proximate urban amenities. CSM serves a diverse student body with a comprehensive array of associate degree programs, certificate programs, and workforce development opportunities. Among its academic offerings, the college is known for its nursing, cybersecurity, and engineering programs.
