The University of Louisville is test-optional for first-year applicants in the 2026-27 admissions cycle. SAT or ACT scores are not required for admission to any major, and there are pathways into every academic program without scores. If you send scores, Louisville accepts them from the testing agency or your high school transcript, uses the highest composite (it does not superscore), and does not require ACT Science. Students admitted without scores take Accuplacer tests for course placement. The Honors Program requires SAT or ACT scores on a separate application.
