The University of Louisville, situated in Kentucky's largest city and flanked by the Ohio River, is a public research university founded in 1798, making it one of the oldest municipal universities in the United States. Characterized by its picturesque Belknap Campus that showcases a mix of traditional and modern architecture, the university also offers on-campus housing to accommodate its student body.
