Saint Catharine College, established in 1931, was a private, not-for-profit liberal arts college located in the rural setting of Saint Catharine, Kentucky, within proximity to the city of Louisville. The college, which permanently closed in 2016, was steeped in the Dominican tradition and had a history of offering higher education with an emphasis on leadership and service. Its academic profile included a variety of undergraduate degrees, with a particular emphasis on programs in the health sciences. Application to the college was moderately selective.
