Bluegrass Community and Technical College (BCTC) is a public two-year institution located in Lexington, Kentucky, within proximity to the state's second-largest city. Founded as Lexington Community College in 1965 and merging with Central Kentucky Technical College in 2005, BCTC operates several campuses throughout the region, with its main campus offering a suburban atmosphere conducive to learning. BCTC's academic offerings span a broad range of vocational and technical disciplines, including popular programs such as Nursing, Information Technology, and Advanced Manufacturing Technology, tailored to meet the workforce demands of the Commonwealth.
