Labette Community College (LCC), founded in 1923, is a public institution situated in Parsons, Kansas, approximately 125 miles away from the larger urban area of Wichita. The college features a suburban campus that blends both historical and contemporary styles within its facilities. LCC provides an array of associate degree programs and certifications, with notable emphasis on Health Sciences and Nursing, as well as programs in Business, Science, and Arts. While the college maintains an open admission policy, meaning that any applicant with a high school diploma or GED is generally able to enroll, it still relies on placement testing and prior academic records to guide course selection. On-campus housing is not provided by LCC, encouraging a commuter school atmosphere where students reside off-campus or within the local community. LCC is not particularly known for its athletics programs, focusing instead on the academic and technical development of its student body.

Labette Community College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  503 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 922 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $1,824 plus fees of $2,144.
