Central Christian College of Kansas, established in 1884, is a private, non-profit, four-year college affiliated with the Free Methodist Church, located in McPherson, Kansas, approximately 60 miles north of Wichita. The college emphasizes a liberal arts education and offers a selection of more than 40 majors, with particular strengths in Business Administration, Psychology, and Exercise Science. The campus is characterized by its blend of historic and modern buildings, with student housing available on campus. Central Christian maintains an open admissions policy, welcoming a diverse student body from a variety of academic backgrounds. Known as the Tigers, Central Christian College competes in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) but is not specifically recognized for athletic prominence.
