Simpson College, established in 1860 and located in Indianola, Iowa, is a private liberal arts college situated approximately 12 miles south of Des Moines, offering a suburban atmosphere conducive to its educational environment. The institution upholds a historical affiliation with the United Methodist Church, while maintaining an ecumenical approach to learning and campus life. Simpson's campus showcases a blend of historic and modern architecture with a focus on sustainable and green living options, including residence halls for student housing.
