Des Moines Area Community College

Des Moines Area Community College's main campus is located in Ankeny, Iowa, situated 10 miles north of downtown Des Moines. The suburban campus spans 540 acres and features modern academic buildings connected by walkways through landscaped grounds. Founded in 1966 as part of Iowa's statewide community college system, DMACC operates as the largest two-year institution in the state with additional campuses in Boone, Carroll, Newton, Urban Des Moines, and West Des Moines.
