Manchester University, located in North Manchester, Indiana, approximately 35 miles west of Fort Wayne, offers an intimate campus setting distinguished by its red-brick, gothic architectural style buildings which house a range of undergraduate and graduate programs. Founded in 1889, the private liberal arts university maintains a historical affiliation with the Church of the Brethren and promotes a broad-based education rooted in the liberal arts and sciences. The academic profile at Manchester includes noteworthy programs in the health sciences, as well as a popular Pharmacy program which is one of the few in the nation to offer a dual degree in pharmacy and pharmacogenomics. With regards to application selectivity, Manchester has developed a reputation for being moderately selective, fostering an inclusive academic environment. Residential life is an integral part of student experience on campus with a variety of housing options available to students, including dormitories and apartment-style living.
