Roosevelt University, founded in 1945, is a private institution located in Chicago, Illinois, amidst the city's vibrant cultural and business landscape. Known for its diverse student body and progressive history, the university operates from its vertical, modernist campus featuring the landmark Auditorium Building, as well as a suburban campus in Schaumburg. Roosevelt emphasizes experiential learning across its comprehensive range of undergraduate and graduate programs, with notable offerings in business, education, performing arts, and social justice. The university has an inclusive admissions policy. While Roosevelt does provide on-campus housing options, it is also characterized by a significant number of commuting students.
