Illinois College, established in 1829, is located in Jacksonville, Illinois, approximately 35 miles west of Springfield. The private liberal arts institution occupies a 70-acre residential campus characterized by historic red-brick buildings and modern academic facilities in a small-town setting. As one of the oldest private colleges in Illinois, the institution maintains selective admission standards and offers undergraduate programs with particular emphasis in sciences, education, and business administration.
