Benedictine University is a private Roman Catholic institution located in Lisle, Illinois, approximately 25 miles west of Chicago. The university was founded by the Benedictine monks of St. Procopius Abbey in the 1880s and maintains a commitment to the intellectual, personal, professional, and ethical development of its students. Situated on a peaceful suburban campus encompassing prairie architectural elements, Benedictine University offers a range of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs.
