Windward Community College

Windward Community College occupies 64 acres on the eastern side of Oahu in Kaneohe, situated at the base of the Ko'olau Mountains approximately 12 miles from downtown Honolulu. The campus features a mix of modern and traditional Hawaiian-influenced architecture, including the Hokulani Imaginarium, a state-of-the-art planetarium facility, and the Palik? Theatre performing arts venue. As part of the University of Hawaii system, Windward CC primarily serves the communities of Kane'ohe, Kailua, and Waim?nalo, offering two-year associate degrees and certificates with notable programs in veterinary technology, natural sciences, and Hawaiian studies. The college maintains an open-admission policy consistent with its community college mission, and while there are no on-campus housing facilities, the institution serves both traditional students and working adults through flexible scheduling options and distance learning programs.
