Brigham Young University-Hawaii (BYU-Hawaii) is a private undergraduate institution located in the town of Laie, on the northern shore of Oahu, approximately 35 miles from Honolulu. Established by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1955, the university integrates academic experience with a faith-informed education. The campus is home to a diverse and international student body, representing over 70 countries, providing a unique cultural atmosphere. BYU-Hawaii offers a variety of bachelor's degree programs, with a notable focus on areas such as Pacific Island studies, international business, and intercultural peacebuilding.
