Wesleyan College, located in Macon, Georgia, approximately 85 miles south of Atlanta, is a private liberal arts women's college with a rich history as the first college in the world chartered to grant degrees to women. Established in 1836, the institution is noted for its distinctive Gothic Revival architecture that graces its serene 200-acre campus adorned with historic buildings and contemporary facilities. Wesleyan offers a range of undergraduate programs with particular strengths in the fine arts, sciences, and pre-professional programs. Housing is provided on-campus, with a variety of living options designed to accommodate students. While Wesleyan maintains a holistic admissions process with a moderately selective acceptance rate, it emphasizes a personalized educational experience. The college does not particularly emphasize athletics within its program offerings, and as such, it is not widely known for intercollegiate athletic success.

In the most recent statistical year 1,298 prospective students applied, and 867 were granted admission.  Of those admitted 122 enrolled in the school.  457 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 203 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $26,450 plus fees of $1,200.
