Valdosta State University (VSU), a regional university located in Valdosta, Georgia, is part of the University System of Georgia. Situated approximately 15 miles from the Florida border and just over 200 miles south of Atlanta, VSU occupies a 168-acre campus known for its Spanish Mission architecture. Founded in 1906, it now offers a range of undergraduate and graduate programs, with notable emphasis on education and nursing, through its College of the Arts, College of Business Administration, College of Education and Human Services, College of Humanities and Social Sciences, and College of Science and Mathematics. Valdosta State provides on-campus housing options across nine residence halls and two apartment complexes, accommodating a significant portion of its student body.
