Overview

North Georgia Technical College (NGTC), located in Clarkesville, Georgia, is a public technical institution founded in 1943. Nestled in the scenic foothills of the North Georgia mountains, this college offers a tranquil, primarily rural, campus setting while being approximately 90 miles northeast of Atlanta. NGTC provides a range of vocational and technical programs, including but not limited to, Health Sciences, Business Technology, and Computer/Information Technology, which are among the more popular majors due to their industry relevance and applicability. North Georgia Technical College has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  830 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 1,619 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $2,400 plus fees of $672.
