Overview

Georgia Military College-Columbus Campus is a military-centric institution dedicated to the values of duty, honor, and country, located in Columbus, Georgia, in proximity to the bustling city of Atlanta. Established with the purpose of providing both academic and leadership education, this campus maintains a strong focus on fostering a rigorous academic environment. Its academic portfolio predominantly includes two-year degree programs aimed at preparing students for either the workforce or for transfer to four-year institutions, with popular majors that encompass the liberal arts, sciences, and technology fields. While the campus does not offer on-campus living, it provides a supportive environment for students, many of whom are active-duty military or veterans. The Columbus Campus, part of the larger Georgia Military College system, embraces a more open admissions policy, attracting a diverse range of applicants. It does not boast a strong presence in intercollegiate athletics, thus focusing its resources and activities on educational and leadership development rather than sports programs.

Georgia Military College Columbus Campus has an open admission policy which permits enrollment by any high school graduate or GED holding student.  159 students are enrolled on a full time basis, and 67 attend part time. In-state tuition for 2022/2023, excluding room and board, is $5,472 plus fees of $490.
